Last Sunday morning we had a little time available, so drove over to Cotswold Lavender for a picnic and photos. Despite what the news section of their website said, the lavender wasn't really ready, but was out enough for a few pictures.
This is a popular spot for visitors to photograph wives, girlfriends and even bring models to picture in the lavender. I was able to 'borrow' someone else's model without getting seen.
And then we had the usual shots.
There was an area of lavender across several rows that was dead, looking like it might have been sprayed. The stems had weathered, bleached and to me, rather resembled bones, piled together.
First and last images Samyang 85 f1.4, the middle 2 Nikon 28-85, Nikon D610.
